Midnight Interlude

Well... I hope everyone had a fun, fulfilling, and happy Thanksgiving. It sure was quiet over the weekend in ScrappyLand - at the least few times I popped in. But boy, let me tell you, last week was CRAZY! I didn't get ANY scrapping done! Luckily, I'm a week ahead, so I still have a kit to offer you this week...

This is TOTALLY different than anything I've ever done before... but I think it turned out okay.. My CT was also pretty busy last week, so I don't have layouts from all of them yet, but I'll add them as they come in.. Hopefully they'll give you some ideas as to how the kit can be used...

Jen used it to scrap some beautiful wedding photos... Check out that blending!

Contemporary Elements

YAY!!! You like me! You really like me! lol ;) Thank you, thank you, thank you for all of your sweet comments - it really makes my day! Gratitude

Even though Nicole is in Paris this week {jealous, jealous, jealous} she's still releasing a new kit.. Ahh, the joys of technology... This one is really beautiful, and bursting with great colors and fun elements - she just keeps getting better and better, don't you think?!!?

She released these papers yesterday, and will be doing elements today, followed by alphas, add-ons, and all sorts of goodies throughout the rest of the week. Be sure to check her blog each day to get your fill...

Anxiously Awaiting

Well - after the success of Love & Joy, I have a lot to live up to... I doubt anything other than a Christmas kit would have done as well for me, so I'm glad so many of you liked it! But moving on...

A while back a friend of mine from high school emailed me asking for suggestions of kits she could use to scrap her pregnancy.. I looked around, sent her what info I could, and decided to give it a try myself.. Here's my latest and greatest - Anxiously Awaiting.

I know those of you who voted for the funky and bright color palette totally weren't expecting a pregnancy kit, but you got it anyway! ;) I know people generally think of baby things as all pretty and pastel-y - which is fine - but this isn't a kit about the baby... It's all about Mom. But don't worry, for those of you who don't have a need for such a kit, there is plenty of variety, so it can be used for pretty much anything bright and fun.. Sweet Dreams Little One

Here are some pages I've done with Kiki's Sweet Dreams Little One at AhhhScrap. Per my husband's suggestion - he's so helpful... sometimes ;) - I'm working on journaling that actually means something other than just a date or space filler... Something we could all probably try a little harder to do.. After all, the whole point of scrapping is to remember, right? And what's the point of remembering an image if we don't remember the little details that go along with it?

Holiday Cards

Well, everyone - we've made it to the end of this kit.. Can you believe it?!? What a week! I've made up some photo greeting cards using items from the kit.. There are 4 each of 5"x7" and 4"x7". Well - Nicole and I have done it again... we hope! Here's our latest collab, Love & Joy. I like to think of it as a "winter" kit or a "holiday" kit, rather than a "Christmas" kit. It's true, there are a lot of traditional Christmas colors, but there are just so many options of how you can use it... Take a look at the fantastic layouts our CTs did and you'll see what I mean. Nicole and I gave both of our CTs both kits to work with, and they came up with some really great stuff - some of them even did more than one layout!
